As a certified women-owned business, Aerial Development Group joins a variety of women-owned business within the Women’s Business Enterprise Council South. Britnie Turner, Aerial’s Founder & CEO, was awarded as the “Rising Star” at the first annual WBEC South luncheon and awards ceremony in Nashville.
Phala K. Mire, President introduced the 2016 award winner as a company “Who has evidenced a strategic growth trajectory that is pretty much off the charts – they’re almost an outlier -so when we see that type of momentum, when we see that type of innovation, when we see that kind of brilliance emanating from a company we certainly want to recognize that and bring it to the attention of all our corporate members. So we have created what we call a “Rising Star” award and we will recognize one rising star from within the states which we represent each year and these rising stars will also be profiled in our newsletter and website. For those of you already living in Nashville, you may be familiar with our recipient of this year’s award because she has been written up in several of the journals and local publications here in Tennessee. She is very young and innovative and entrepreneurial – she is a delight to speak to and to meet – and she is doing some of the most dynamic work in the development space anywhere in the country. Our rising star for 2016 is Aerial Development Group.”
