Aerial Development Group CEO Named 2014 Woman to Watch
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Britnie Turner, founder and CEO of Aerial Development Group, was named 2014
Woman to Watch at the 2014 Women’s Conference, Sept. 30, at Belmont University. Nashville Mayor Karl Dean presented Turner her award during the 2014 Women in the Workforce Forum and Awards, presented by the Council on Workforce Innovation during the Women’s Conference.
The Woman to Watch award recognizes Turner as “a woman in the workplace under the age of 35 making significant contributions both professionally and in the community, and also serving as a role model for other young female leaders.”
The Council on Workforce Innovation is a collaborative initiative tracking trends, demographics, technology and resources to advance results and outcome in the workforce. Turner is CEO of Aerial Development Group, a residential and commercial development company she founded in Nashville in 2009. The company revitalizes urban neighborhoods through renovations and infill. It donates a percentage of the profits to support orphans in Africa and local Middle Tennessee
Turner serves on the board of The Horizon Initiative, an international non-profit organization rescuing and empowering orphaned children to self-sustainability through a micro-community model. She is a frequent speaker for REIN, a not-for-profit that supports real estate investors in Tennessee. She also is an active member of the Women’s Presidents Organization, Urban Land Institute Nashville, the Nashville
Area Chamber of Commerce, Greenways for Nashville and Nashville Civic Design Center.
